there is a tranny place on old bayshore hwy
Dales transmissions
ask for "Puzant" great guy does outstanding work and he will try to go the best route for your $$

how much will all this cost? rebuilding,parts and labor? save the money and go for a TKO it will out last a t-5 rebuild.. and the TKO shifts great i like it alot..

awhile back i was quoted 1300 or 1400 and i said fuck that saved up alittle more money and got a TKO...

not too sure what the cost is, its best just to call and ask- it doesnt hurt. maybe it is better to get a tko - but iom not familiar(sp) with those.

what did u get done and how much was it?
well my t-5's 5th gear wasnt working- it had a clip that came off so the 5 gear wouldnt engage and re-set or re-adjusted the shifter -no tthat actuall shifter- but the fork or whatever you call the component where you place the shifter into. $150
i also had a small block c-6 - to rebuild - quoted me like $550 to rebuild - but i opted for the big block c-6 instead and it cost me $700 ..around there - w/shift kit.

thanks, i was just lookin at the stuff on astro in my 5.0 mag that just came in. lol
right on- yeah i got the info from the same mag- i read the article on "stolen goods" in the may edition - for the beefed up t-5
