Nope, that was another problem I never got around too. The door is locked, I can't pull the lock up by hand. Since the actuator went out, I haven't been able to unlock from outside with the key. And I've never been able to pull the handle from the inside while it was locked. Any ideas or am I fucked? There's got to be something!?! [Confused]

Pull the door panel off and check out the linkage going to your handle...you should normally be able to open the door from the inside. Your actuator is probably seized in the locked position which is keeping you from being able to open it. Mine seized while unlocked...which sucked. Good luck [patriot]

You can still take the panel off with the door closed. I had to do the same thing on the passenger side. Just remove the armrest and door handel frame then pop the tabs that are accesable around the door panel. I think I was able to reach in behind the panel and manually unlock the car door, then finished removing the door panel once I got the door open. It's possible to remove it completely though with it closed. Just takes a little longer.

Sorry mang - I didn't specify about the pain in the ass part where it all has to be done with the door shut! It can be done. I'm on my 2nd set of actuators...first one's broke within weeks of eachother about 8 months after installation....sucked!
