a/c system is full and was working. lost ground to clutch relay below mass air flow meter. if ground is applied to relay a/c works fine. the wiring diagram indicates the ecm is ground source,replaced relay and same problem. i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem because i have had lots of stangs and never had this happen. its on an 89gt. i really do not want to replace the ecm if i do not have to

I have seen problems with a ground to the ECM although it wasnt in a Fox. I would try to track down the ground wire and clean it..... might help.
