Topic: air pressure out of valve cover????

just got my stang running and noticed alot of air pressure soming out of my breather caps on the valve covers, little oil splatter too, has anyone ever had this happen to there car, any help would be very appreciated thanks

It could blow by the valve guides/seals and pressurize the covers if any of the parts are worn or the incorrect. Are the heads stock or factory built? How much mileage on them? [ June 04, 2007, 08:11 PM: Message edited by: Hozr ]

check the PCV system.

fresh motors vent until everything seats. if its not fresh, see above

they are gt 40 heads, very ported, could it be that the pvc valve be plug or sumthang
