Ok so as some of you know I am doing a 4 to 8 cyl conversion. I am in the process of doing the behind the dash wiring and everything went good so far until...:
Here is what I did. I removed ALL of the wiring that goes behind the dash EXCEPT for the CPU Wiring and replaced it with the V8 wiring out of my 89 (the car is an 87). Almost Everything hooked up GREAT, the only problem is that when I turned the car to the ON position and tried to crank it I got nothing..Only the Fuel priming and the fan automatically going on. I noticed a electrical burning smell coming from somewher in the wire jumble but couldnt locate it. I tried to find it by leaving the car in the ON position and eventually the fan Stopped. I guess i burnt something to the fan or something is misconnected..I have no Clue. I have a couple of female ends that are NOT hooked up and I cant see that they go anywhere, I ran codes and it threw out a # 31 & 67. I dont have a book so I dont know what they mean. Thanks!

the dash wiring didn't need to be changed, only the engine harness did
