I thought all the replacement parts sold by Ford were Motorcraft! [Embarrassed] ...

Just called the dealer for some factory pads and they asked me if I wanted Ford or Motorcraft?....It's for my wife's 02 Mountaineer...

The Ford one's are almost double the price...Any advantage???...Bonded, semi-metallic, etc?........

Thanks guys...

Get the Motorcraft Semi-metalic pads. They cost less than the "Ford" ones and you already know motorcraft sells top quality parts. Our Mounties were a bit different than each others but when it was time to do Jenn's brakes I didn't get the semi-metalic and the pads I got chewed up the new rotors. Semi-metalic will dirty your wheels but aren't so hard on the rotors. I don't know what bonded pads consist of Rob. Shit man I can't belive your asking a Tech question. [Eek!]
