I recently had my clutch quadrant break. The teeth chipped. I went ahead and bought the steeda clutch quadrant and firewall adjuster. On their web site it says "Will work with stock or aftermarket adjustable clutch cables".
This means I can use a OEM ford cable correct? Ive heard everything bad about adjustables.

Yes a new factory clutch cable, double hook quadrant with the firewall adjuster will work perfect.
The adjustable cables are garbage.

Your car has an aftermarket clutch and it has a stiff pedal. High clutch tension kills the stock quadrant so you should be set with your new parts. I thought your car had an aftermarket quadrant though....
