i have a 96 cobra and im dropping a 03 cobra short block in , what should i do while its out and im also shopping for a supercharger kit , i am gonna delete the imrc plates , wondering if i should port and polish the heads and maybe cams not to sure , may also just go n/a but then i would want to bump the compression , probably longtubes , any suggestions, feel free to comment away [ December 19, 2006, 06:35 PM: Message edited by: red GT black rallyes ]

i got a set of 96-98 heads if youre interested.then you can port away and have backups.i also have the imrc kit with the butterflies removed

I found a set of Hyland blower cams on CL a couple days ago. I dont know the seller, just found the listing looking for Cobra stuff. cams

so maybe like port and polish heads and intake , mild blower cams , longtubes , throttle body and u/d pulleys , something like that and then a blower in the spring when it stops raining

I would try and offer him a bit less, the cams are only $900 without a core, if you return your old cams then its $600.

Hey, i've got a friend who's selling a short runner intake for 96-98 cobras. i'll have him pm you. I was gonna get it, but it'll be too much for my N/A combo. good luck. There are some great write ups on the sn95 cobra forums on svtperformance. good luck.

Ok ima go short runner intake , LT's , port work on tha heads , stock cams , and just boost tha fuck out of it , would like a turbo kit if I can find a nice one but for now I gotta find some LT's and the intake and also some kinda cai and maf let me know what u got
