I have a 93 cobra with the OEM 93 rims. I believe they are 17x7.5. Im due for new tires pretty soon here and am wondering if 255x45x17 all around will rub at all? Also when I reach behind the rear tires there is only about a fingers thickness of space between the tire and exhaust pipe. Im worried that if I go 255's the tire will rub on the piping. Will spacers eliminate that or do i need to stick with 245's?
EDIT: stock ride height also [ December 14, 2006, 07:27 PM: Message edited by: adower ]

Your better off sticking with 245/45's imho.
I have a friend that ran 255's on the rear with no problems however. To me it is not worth going 10mm wider on the rear and losing the tire rotation capability.
