my stepfather has a 90 fox and his very close friend has a 93, there both original owners of their cars. Both running a vortech s-trim,75 shot on the stock bottom end, never been touched. I believe my stepdad has 130k on the odometer and his friends 93 has around 60k, and yes its still the hyperpuetic (sp?) pistons..one is running the older style edlebrock heads and the other is now running trick flow heads. Now to make it even more hard to believe, but both cars have also had blowers from the first year out of the factory, back when they bought them brand new..Of course they weren't vortechs, they both bounced around from powerdyne and paxton but eventually ditched them do to reliability issues..His friends car was featured in 5.0 magazine about a year back, white gt chrome cobras engine is a polished/chromed...

You should decide how much power You want to make and go from there. 600 fwhp is when You are really pushing the stock block from what I understand. If You are only running 5-8 pound's of boost and making 350-400 rwhp then You could probably throw a 100 shot at it and live for a while. Then again it might blow up on the dyno or the 1st time down the strip. The question is do You feel lucky? I need to start saving for an aftermarket block Myself .

Pull the NOS off and slap on an S-trim w/ 8lbs of boost. Make sure your engine is in good running shape, you have a good fuel system, and a good tune.
You should have plenty of power and the stock block should hold up as long as you don't beat the shit out of it.

Ditto, even though I know people running both power adders on stock bottom end I personally wouldnt do it..I'm sure the blower will be plenty of fun
