I am installing underdrive pullies on my friends 05 gt and i was wondering if i need a puller to take the crank pulley off?

Yes,you need a 3 prong puller,not a regular steering wheel puller. You can check,they did have bosses for bolt holes but they aren't drilled,at least they weren't on mine. Remove the electric fan its like 2 bolts and makes it way easier.

What kit is it? Steeda?
