I had my car jacked up and noticed that when I rotate the driveshaft it will move back and forth about a quarter inch before the gears catch and turn the wheels. Is that normal? I am thinking that maybe the backlash needs to be re-adjusted, unless that is normal. Post after you check to see if your car does that and how much i.e. 1/4 inch, 1/2 inch etc... Thanks!
