Author Topic: possible tranny NonOpSlow2V ¯ Member # 6111 posted                              i was pulling out the stang from the garage the other day and i heard this new sound coming from under neath...like a hissing noise...i thought it was an exhasut leak or something..so today i jacked her up and strated the car...crawled underneath and traced the noise from inside the bell housng...what do u think it is?...its not a continuous noise...its there...fades down for about two sonfs and hisses back up and stayys for like 4 seconds...what do u think it is? any help will be much appreciated...thank you -------------------- 1997 Autumn Orange GT vert 1996 Mystic Cobra 2005 95ci Harley Road King 2011 F150 Raptor Posts: 2139 | From: San Francisco | Registered: Oct 2005  |  : NO MANRZ ¯ Member # 566 posted                              Could be your throwout bearing.
