I got the blower off and everything went smooth, Swapping the IC to the ported blower now. I took the IC off no sweat but there is not gasket there. Is there supposed to be a gasket? Looks like there may have been some silicone at one point but it is only at one corner. Do I need to use some silicone and if so what kind??? Black RTV???

Respnonse needed asap please!!!

Are you referring to the Intercooler cap? (held on by 3 each 10mm bolts, one 8mm?) If so, no. There is no gasket or silicone.

from what ive seen, there is only a gasket that goes on the mating surfaces for the blower and lower intakes, since the intercooler nestels inside of the lower.

No, the actual I/C. Not the cap. There was a paper gasket for the cap which I reused. I ended up using black RTV for the I/C which bolts undernieth the blower.
