Sup guys
I've been saving up to buy h/c/i and i know what a cam is but how do i choose the right one. Whats duration/lift how would i pick the right one whats a good company ?what do i look for(duration/lift)? I would appreciate any info because i want to get a good combo the first time around and not get the wrong cam.

You need to narrow down what you want out of the combo. A cam that's good for my 393w will be useless in a N/A 302...

Its going to be on my n/a 302 not sure what the combo is going to be yet but i was wondering what to look for in a cam, how would i match it to a pair of heads.

You need to pick a cam based on the output you'd like to see, the intended use, and whether or not you want it to pass smog. Don't worry about attempting to match it to a set of heads, that's the least of your worries.

If you dont want a custom made cam, Comp cams are the best in my opinion.

combo should not based around a cam... the type of cam that will be preferable to your set up will depend on the parts you have.
Figure those out first(heads, intake etc), buy them and then ask that question again..

What are some good rockers for an e303 cam?
What do i do to tune the cam for maximum HP?

Thanks, but i wanted to find out how a cam works what duration /lift means, how do i know what the cam is for what to look for and how to match it.

oh... i would do a search on google.. i'm sure there are sites out there that teach you or atleast go over this process.
