About two weeks ago my battery light came on as I was driving home at 2 in the morning. The cause was a bad altenator. I went ahead and replaced it the next day with an oem replacment from pep boys. Then today Im driving home from work and my battery light came on again, so im assuming once again its a bad altenator. My question is wheter or not there is something that might be causing my altenator to keep going bum. I dont have an aftermarket stereo, i dont have aftermarket underdrive pullies either. Do you guys think there a more serious problem with my electrical system, or do you think that maybe I just got another bum altenator?

Yeah I figured it was just probably the quality of the product. Ill give them one more try, only because it comes with a 3 year warranty and they will replace it for free. If it happens again it would be just easier to save myself the aggrivation of dealing with it everytime the problem occurred and just buy a better quality altenator.
