well im not sure which catback exhaust to buy. I heard that a straight through muffler is best with a supercharger?? what do you guys recommend? Im going to be running an o/r x pipe. I dont want it ear piercing loud but i want it loud, lol. Whats the best flowing exhaust?? slp, mac, borla, spintech???

I use MAC on my 86GT. It's a little louder and deeper than stock @ idle. When you get on it, it roars and has a unique sound...I say unique because you won't be one of the 98% of Mustang owners that have Flowmasters.

You'll get alot of looks and people asking you what kind of exhaust you have. [Smile]

Caution!

Generally speaking X pipes will get raspy and loud w/ a straight through muff.

And in regards to flow capabilities especially in s/c applications the difference between companies will be negligible it's really how you want it to sound.

Like i said before people don't think Flows ....flow very well but i tend to differ as my car has performed similar if not better with my flows and off road X

Another vote for Mac [patriot] I have it on my '92 and it sounds really good. It fits nice and it pretty good quality.

Not sure how it will sound on a mod motor though

bassani catback.......on 5.0/foxbody's id recommend MAC and probably flowmasters, but on the 4.6 dohc modulars, go with SLP, Bassani or Magnapak.. end of story...

the differnece is mandrell bends. The mail order is all mandrell bent where as most exhaust shops put little kinks in the pipe. They generally flow right about the same. I work at a muffler shop and so i may be alittle biased but our work usually fits/looks 100 times better than the mail order stuff. The slp is loud but not unbearable. If i had a mustang i would have either the magnapacks or loudmouth.

Yes to me a good choice i just ordered the loudmouth exhaust the loudmouth 1 with the resanators. And the reason because of the loud sound and tone, and because i want something different than yes the 90-95% of the mustangs who have flowmasters.Or who have the magnapacks. Go to

www.mustangexhaust.com

and u can hear other stangs with the slp exhaust. My slp exhaust is coming in on the 17th cant wait. Also www.lmperformance.con
Is haveing a sale on the exhaust i paid only $399.99 and have free shipping. hurry up.......
