Ok, i'll be installing a wet nx system tomorrow. This is what i've figured out so far. i also have a purge kit.. but i have an idea of what to do with it. is my diagram right? the most important thing i want to know is.. Should i install a WOT switch? i don't really want to have the extra boost on 1st and 2nd. i just want to spray in 3rd and 4th gear.
Can i just install a push bottom so i can activate the nx at will? how would i go about installing that? where and how would that switch be installed? thanks. a lot. Jersey [ August 28, 2005, 01:33 AM: Message edited by: Jmir018 ]

I don't know about your system technically, but I have always used the NOS systems and used a switch to arm it (fog light switch or something hidden) and put the activator under the gas pedal.

about the wot activation
yes you can use a button, where the wot switch is just remove it and wire in a push botton swtich
just make sure its momentary and wont stay on
in the above pic, you do not have a fuel pressure safety seitch, so just pretened it isnt in the drawing

thanks for all the help. what type of relay should i ask for? what's the advantage of using a relay as opposed to not using one. Will the purge solenoid come before the other two solenoids on the nitrous line? Thanks. I have one week to figure this out...

If you want to use a push botton I would also use a rpm switch to prevent any problems.

Definitely! Don't want to over rev it and be on the "button"
Also if you can i would hook up the WOT switch closer to the TB linkage vs. under the pedal for various reasons imo.
edit: A window switch would be even better to activated/de-activate the SPRAY at certain rpm [ August 29, 2005, 11:04 AM: Message edited by: TRIXSNK ]

The advantage is you won't be powering the solenoids 24/7 when the switch is on.

on my old nitrous kit, it ask for a 40amp relay(it had huge selonoids)....your selonoids look small and a 30amp looks like could do the job just fine...JFYI good luck

i would get a 40amp just to make sure its enough, solenoids use lots of power
if u cant find one i can order one wholesale through NX
