Just curious, on the Mustangs they have the Ford oval on the bumper cover, well I took mine off, what can I fill the put oval indention with so that it's flush with the rest of the urethane?

My auto body teacher says to cut the oval out, and epoxy some 1/8" plexiglass or some other plastic in from the back. Be sure to scuff the area where the epoxy will be applied with some 40 grit or near equivalent. You will probably have to use C-Clamps with swivel pads to hold the plate in place while the epoxy is curing. The longer the cure time on the epoxy, the stronger the bond. Use rigid plastic filler to fill the indentation. One more thing, you'll have to remove the bumper cover. Hope this helps. [ June 23, 2005, 12:53 PM: Message edited by: MidnightNotchback ]
