i will check all the wires. also i have no stereo hooked up or accesories but radar detector which isnt even hooked up. i have been told though something could be grounding out. thanks for the help.

What's the problem?!
Is this for your 88 GT?...I'm guessing you can't start your car?...More than likely (without hearing your problem) you need to replace your starter solenoid...It's common on the Fox Mustangs...
