If I had a 331 with edelbrock rpm heads and 2.02 valves, what compression ratio should I shoot for? Also, what cam would be best for the suggested cr?I would also prefer this to be a na set-up.I'm also thinking that staying away from the biggest cam out there would help me to drive this thing daily if I wanted to.Finally, can anyone guess how much power this thing would make?

There are so many other variables that have to be considered before you even begin to try making power guesses about a motor like this. And if you want to run on the street NA, go about 9.5-10:1 compression. Get a cam that compliments your intake and heads. But you have sooooooo many things missing from this combo that I would never be able to guess what power you'd make. Although, if you make less than 300RWHP you did something wrong.

my friend has a DSS 331 with edelbrock heads, custom comp cam, 10:1 comp, and ran 113mph in the 1/4. Not sure on the horsepower, it dyno'd 330 to the wheels but has been tuned better and is faster now.

Some of the things you will have to consider are:
- Is it going to be a street car or track only car? - Do you care about smog? - What kind of intake are you going to run? - What do you want to power band to be? - 5 speed or auto? - What is the final drive ratio you plan on running?

10:1+ compression for a N/A motor, get a custom cam and remind them its a street car if thats what you want. Look at Drews car, his car makes 450rwhp N/A and is driven on the street no probs with a "larger cam"

Sorry- Parts list-edelbrock rpm II intake,70mm tb,long tubes,no cats,flows,5spd,373's,30lb inj,full interior,and I'd like to drive it daily,locally(less than 20 miles/day w/some freeway and smog is not an immediate concern)
I do have a trick flow stage one.How will that work with the rest of the parts?

Stage 1 is too small for a 331... look at the comp xe line or a custom cam.
