Well my buddy has a 91 5.0,thats a 5 spd,he has a stock block.he has bbk headers and cai.And hes goin to buy a upper and lower intake. He just basiclly wants to get some opinions on what he should do.while the upper and lower intake are off, should he get some bigger injectors and mass meter, get his stock heads ported,or...that doesnt cost alot, whats the most pounds injectors you can go with passing smog?He wants to do top end work for right now

Trick Flow Street Heat, Holley Sysmax, Cobra, or GT-40 will all work good. If he is just changing the intake then he should stick w/ stock injectors.

Personally I would get the whole Trick Flow package (Twisted Wedge heads, stage 1 cam, and Street Heat intake) if he can afford it. In this case then 24lb injectors, matching MAF, and a bigger T-body would be good.

I didn't have any problems passing smog w/ my 24's

If he's not going to do anyything major to the motor, get a tfs street, performer, or a cobra. The gt40 is crap and is way overpriced and the holley is ahigher rpm or blower intake in my opinion.
