Just bought a 85 gt and I want to do the 5lug conversion so I can put on my Saleen rims. I beleive the 85's had 7.5 rear ends so I was wondering if I can just swap in a full sn95 8.8 rear end and bolt it up?? Is it a direct swap?

Direct swap, with the exception of the brake line. You will need an adapter to make it work.

the axles will also be sticking our 3/4" further on both sides too. A total of 1.5" wider. Good Luck.
