Ok, I got a friend who has an SN95 5.0 and a 91 5.0. He wants to take the 91's tranny and drop it into the SN95. Does anyone know whats involved with this? Complications? Modifications needed? I need to know because as soon as he does this... I GET THE 91 !
Not as important, however - I will need a new tranny for the 91. Does anyone know how much one of these would cost? Looking for something stock-like. I don't care if its used/rebuilt.

Need to swap the bellhousings and input shafts between the 95 and 91 tranny's. Other than that, it's a direct bolt-up.
Used T-5's go for about 250-300, depending on condition.

Don't you mean bellhousing or input shaft?
As long as you use the fox bellhousing the tranny will work on a 94/95 w/o swapping the input shaft.
