hey everyone i have a 91 5.0, im having problems i recently installed a new sending unit the one in the manifold, and now my car is fukin up. what it does is when its warmed up i will put in into park and it starts to drop in idle until it dies, and will keep doing it but when i put it in drive it goes up to around 800or 900 rpms and drives fine until i put it in park or neutral, can some please help me the timeing is fine, i checked im gonna just take it to the ford dealership if i cant fix it, they said $210.00 for check up, thats all i did to it besides take the negative battery cable off. it sucks i need to smog it then sell it. thanks for ur help. jon........

If that is all you did then the new unit is probably bad. I am not sure if I would go to the dealership only because they charge you an arm and a leg to fix things AND they never usually FIX the problem. But it is your choice. I would just fix it good enough to sell it and be done with it since you want to get rid of it anyway.
