if i set my timing at 14 will my car be slower at take off but better for high end power? someone told me to set the timing at 12deg thats supose to better than 14??? timings at 12 right now

one more thing my car kinda shakes when stoped at a light why???? [Confused] [Confused] [Confused]

I don't know why your cars shakes at a stop but The higher you can go with the timing before detonation the better. It all depends on your set-up and what gas and other crap. If you are just running some iron heads and pretty stock, I would set it at 14deg.

bump up the timing to 14.. about the shake does it only do it at idle ? if so i would check for a vac leak

I always set my timing at 13, but 2 degrees isnt going to be a noticable change. As far as the shake check all of your sparkplugwires and all vacume lines. You might even want to do a tuneup.
