I have a 96 mustang it is slammed in the front, tubular k-member, and has 17 by 9 cobra r's on it. So my wheels stick out about a inch past the fenders does this seem right. just put the car back together with the new k-member. Forgot what it looked like with out the new k-member. And i don't have a alignment yet but this is with the camber plate pulled all the way to the out side but wheels are still slanted a little bit not much. does all this seem right.

Sounds like a offset/backspace problem. They should not stick out that far.

it has to be the kmember or a-arms. cobra r's are about flush with the fender, they might stick out just a tiny bit

if they are slanted if they are not staight up and down and slanted a little they stick out just a little bit. does'nt look funny. this is common from you are saying though. just wanted to make sure my car wasn't the only one like this.

Do you mean if the wheels are tilted out at the bottom, and are not straight up and down? The top of the tire is still under the fender though right? ou have an alignment issure if thats the case. And did you have those cobra Rs on the car before the tubular k-member?

love the picture. the wheels just looked odd to me. I clip my front right corner on a tree. I was sideways in a turn over 100 mph at night time. its a long story but the frame is all back to normal. wheels are the same on both sides. the wreck just looked worse than it really was. thanks for the replies
