Ditch the stereo it's dead weight.

PowerMaster 140

or 3g conversion (surprised you haven't done this yet)

does it come with everything needed for the upgrade? Your going to want the wire upgrade with at least 200 amp fuse, fuse connector and 4 gauge wire. Also it should come with the new alternator wires you'll need. Check this link at what is suggested for this type of upgrade.

I would just go to a local parts store and find a lifetime unit from a 94-95 gt.

Just a little modding of the bracket and some wire splicing and you got yourself a 130 amp alternator installed.

I'd suggest the 3G upgrade. If you buy the alternator at Autozone I think you get a lifetime warranty. Here are the directions I used for the upgrade, and the parts list is included. http://racesystems.com/3gproj/index.htm

I did pretty much that but I bought my Alt on e-bay. The guy painted it with high heat engine paint gloss black and included the wire needed to splice. After the install I found that my amp gain was minimal so now Im in the process of upgrading the power wire. Went to orchard and bought 4 gauge wire and wire crimps, went to pa-performance and bought the fuse and fuse holder everything for about $30. My alternator was I think $90. You have a ton of options. My only real suggestion is if your going to do it do it right. Lifetime warranty from a parts shop I wish I went that rout but to each their own.

The install itself is easy and there are color illustrated pictures and detailed instructions onlilne. check this link for those.
