haha. Bob Gromm is great. That is my fall back. I am just avoiding a long drive to San Jo if possible. However...i have the itch for a day off... stop into rear end specialties for a gear install and then a pop into gromms?! That's be the equivilant of a ladies day out...wax and manicure.

The best machine shop in the east bay is Dave's Engine Machining. (510) 797-9536. He has been building engines for over 25 years. He has a flow bench, along with an engine dyno also. Talk to Angie or Dave, tell them kwikrob recommended them.
They are locted at 37530 Enterprise Ct. #4 Newark

For gear install, try Enterprise Motorsports & Differentials. Guess what? He is the next set of buildings over. Mike Bolla is his name and the number is 510-792-1965. His address is 37580 Enterprise Ct. Unit 1, Newark 94560. He does gear swaps and also some custom work. I have seen him do custom exhaust, change old school cars over to rear coil over suspensions and so on. Good Luck!
