anybody try to run a supercharger on a speed density car? its an 86 5.0 with a 90 motor(stock)with cobra intake and exhaust.i know i should do the mass air conv.but just wondering.will it work/idle.

It'll work just don't forget a one way check valve on the MAP sensor cuzz if that thing registers boost all hell will break loose with the timing and fuel curves.

I've seen it done, there's a guy who posts on corral with a very fast blown SD car, if you do the right search you may find some of his posts to ask him about it.

I have seen it done on a stock 86GT with an A-Trim and 10psi. 13.00@110 on street tires and 180k miles. He used an idle air kit from Ford.
