What can I do to firm up the suspension a little bit on a stock 5.0? I want to be able to go through corners a little smoother.

lower the bitch 1.5 - 2 inches, get some KyB shocks and struts, and a sway bar under the hood. thats a start, unless u want a custom suspension. but face it mustangs were never meant for cutting corners, just swanging corners [Big Grin]

ohh shit almost forgot that last post was my 500th post
[Smile] [Eek!] [Smile] , but one more thing you can add is subframe connectors, but they will help your car more on straight take offs, it will stiffen up the chassis and not cause it to flex.

Your suspension works better and more efficiently if the frame/unibody doens't flex and bend while under load...Sub frame connectors and anything that stiffens the fame/unibody is always welcome...

Lowering springs have the best bang for buck, since you get a "sportier" ride and good looks from the drop...Anything more than 1.5" drop is just for looks...

Shocks and struts go hand in hand with the springs...

I'd reccommend (depending on your budget) some FMS HD UCA's and new axle bushings, MM LCA's, full length sub frame connectors, poly sway bar bushings and an Eibach Pro-Kit for starters... [patriot]
