What really is this thing(I heard it can help with a rough idle) and how do I know if I installed it correctly and if it is adjustable, how do I adjust it. It has two little allen screws on there, I guess I turn those!

I read that those also helped with idle quality. I have one and it seems to work great. Mine isn't adjustable though so I am not quite sure about that one?

First adjust the throttle screw on the throttle body, set the TPS to .95 volts, the IAC plate is installed with the part # facing up. The bottom adjustment screw on the plate should be screwed all the way in before the IAC plate is installed. The upper adjustment screw on the plate is the one I usually toy with to get the idle perfect. Basically what this plate does is allow for extra air to reach the motor at idle. It is normally used on cars with a bigger cam installed and for fine tuning.
