Author Topic: where can i get sonic blue paint? menlo pony still learnin' Member # 4301 posted                              i fell in love with the new sonic blue paint that comes on some of the new mustangs, i wanted to know if anyone new how much a gallon and where? or if a paint shop offers it and will do the job, how much? Then give the code to whatever body shop you go to. A good body shop will usually be able to get the color themselves so you won't need to bring the paint to them. As for cost, that depends on who is painting the car because body shops charge for labor too obviously. I was quoted $2,000 through a family friend for complete removal of all old paint and primer, all new prep, 3x black, post prep, 3x clear, polish and spit shine. But expect 4K++ for a beautiful job by a shop.
