I need to find someone in the Livermore area that would let me borrow their OBD 2 scanner to pull a code off my dodge intrepid. Hopefully someone can lend a hand?

Mike,
If you happen to pass by the Oakland/Alameda/San Leandro area, you can borrow mine. It's an Actron CP9035 Scanner.

Damn closest autozone to me is in hayward which wouldn't be bad if I wasn't worried about driving the car that far. The Dodge allows you to read the PCM with key cycles though the code I am getting is that there is another code stored in the TCM (Transmission control module) which requires a scanner to grab. I'm worried that I'll get half way there and the tranny will go into limp home mode meaning it won't shift out of second gear [Frown]

Thanks Rob (black 94 5.0) for hooking me up with the OBD II scan. After reading the code it looks bad for my transmission in the Dodge [Frown] At least now I know where to start. Thanks again! [patriot]

Haha thanks Rob,

I looked it up when I got in. Seems Dodge Intrepid's have a site very like this one. A few good tech's on there as well. I need to ask around and see what the next step is. Hopefully not replacing the torque converter. Oh yes a BIG thanks to Wilit as well
