for my 96 gt converty, currently i have a bassani xpipe for a automatic, would this mean i would need to get tha 5spd one? other than that how should the motor react to it??

the hangers are in a different spot i believe. you could MAKE it fit, but it's probably a PITA. I've also heard of people just not using the hangers ie the x pipe is heldup by the headers and tail pipes.

u dont need the hangers,i cut mine of just to make a lightening(lol) fast exaust swicth.no problems at all.a 5 spd will definatly unleash a lot more horse power,plus its always funner to drive stick.id say go for it.

clutch / brake pedal assembly, clutch cable, shifter boot and transmission wiring harness.
all of the items you can pull from a junkyard if you can find a 5spd sn95...
