my car hasnt been accelerating the same for a couple of weeks now, and it makes a popping sound from the engine bay sometimes. my friend put it on the machine and it gave him a code 14, and some other related codes... he said that it is running lean (he said there is too much air and not enough fuel for the engine) is that true? i have MAC cold air fenderwell, shorties, x pipe, and mufflers; however these have been in for months and there wasnt a problem [Confused] . he also said that i could fix it by getting a bigger fuel pump and adjustable regulator.

has anyone had the same problem? can anyone help

The stock pump can easily support that amount of mods. Sounds to me like a faulty O2 or a vacuum leak somewhere.

If you installed the cold air kit, thats probably where to start looking. Probably a loose hose clamp or something. My old cold air kit would come loose every once in awhile.
