Well on the motor it made 363 and 360 pounds of torque but the motor pulled all the way past 6700 with no problem at all. On the nitrous pass it made 480rwhp and 540rwtq :eek:with only 20 degrees total timing. It was a very very safe tune and I am happy with the results Albert

what PSI was the nitrous at. Weird how you only got 117 rwhp on a 150 shot, I almost got that with my 100 shot Good numbers though Albert, that should be good enough for a 10

That is strange since NX usually quotes their horsepower settings at the rear wheels. If that is a 150 shot that is a little low. Maybe bottle pressure was low??

It runs great the bottle pressure was at 900-950ish. I didn't bring the NX past 6700 only the motor. The motor pulls great now

Nitrous actually responds better to a little less timing. Even if the timing is retarded it shouldn't make a 33 rwhp difference

Glad to hear you are happy with your setup. Its sounds very streetable. I wouldn't worry about a missing 33 hp at this point. Assuming you are using a stock block your pushing the limits as is [ March 28, 2004, 09:40 PM: Message edited by: Yellow94GT ]

He's on a Sportsman block. It can handle whatever he throws at it with this combo. Albert the reason it is rich is because of the way NX's jet numbers are set up. My AIr/Fuel is more rich when I'm on the bottle than when I'm off. The fuel jet is too big that they perscribe which is very safe but it could definately call for a nitrous tune to be leaned out a lot. I want to experiment with a smaller fuel jet on my kit but it's probably just not safe to do so

Now tweak it some more at the track. If Byron tuned it, then there's no doubt there is power left.

Great numbers!!!! Your other 33horses are probly in the nx kit if you held it past 6700 rpms.
Hey droptopfox I thought your numbers were way lower than your sig??? Or is your sig numbers the number you got 'on the bottle'?

Those are bottle numbers, motor numbers 249/251 horse and torque, that is 97 rwhp on a 100 shot. You should've held it up Albert. Your motor can handle it, you can't be afraid to let it do so
