Author Topic: coolant leak stoauto ¯ Member # 2803 posted                              i have no idea what this is and i dont know how to post pics, so i'll do my best to explain.... on the PASSENGER side inside the engine bay, where the flanges for the exhaust bolt up, theres a hole about 1/2 of an inch in the fire wall just above and to the right of the flanges, coolant was leaking out of this hole pretty good, some even got in my damn car. never have i had this problem befor, this is the first time i've started this car with the new motor. thanks. The core has a method of containing any leaks which are sent through a hose out your firewall. -------------------- R.I.P. Some people who have done it enough can just remove the major mounting screws and tip the dash down enough to get to it. -------------------- R.I.P. One that goes from the engine to the heater core(firewall). and one coming from the heater core(firewall) to the engine. Connect the hose from top engine exit to the bottom engine entrance.
