how hard is it to swap a whole steering clumn in an 89 Mustang?or is it easier to just buy the parts to fix whats broken after someone tried to steal my car.i think it just need the ingnition and steering wheel lock fixed.also there is wiring harness that they broke off right by the ignition too.
Thanks

What I would do is go on ebay and buy a new steering column complete. They can be found with a key and such anywhere from $50-$100. Just swap out the old broken column for a new one. When someone forces the lock open it breaks the aluminum lock casing. I can help you with the swap if you need someone to do it for you. Good Luck mtbaughs@yahoo.com
