I wanted better 60's, and most importantly a better wheelie [Razz]
went with the summit plastic kit, but replaced the 2 gauge main wire with 0, and used their 2 gauge wire for the alternator (yah overkill) instead of the 8 gauge.

1.56 so far, I think it's helping. Don't skimp out on battery size back there either, I went with a big ol' truck battery [Razz]

I went with the Moroso battery box. It's the only one I know of that is legal at the track if you have a hatchback with no rear firewall. If you install one make sure to do it as outlined on this page otherwise you will be chasing electrical problems forever:

I also have the summit kit but with no cut off switch. I know that isn't legal but a cut off switch will be installed shortly.

I went the the Kragen brackets cuz they were free, and used welding wire cuz it was free also. Reason why I did it is cuz the engine bay looks cleaner in my 65' like that... right?

FordPny,

Prior to having the rear firewall in my car I ran the Moroso box. With a rear firewall or a trunk you can run pretty much any battery box/mount.
