i have 351 stroker with victor jr. heads. The cam i am going to use recommends that i use valve springs with these specs:
* Outside diameter: 1.540 in. * Inside diameter: .697 in. * Seat load: 161 lbs. at 1.900 in. * Open load: 418 lbs. at 1.350 in. * Coil bind: 1.225 in.
However, I have springs with these specs:
OD=1.50, ID=1.060, Seat load=169, open load = 466
The cam reads: duration @50 is 242/248, lift is .608/.614 on a 110 LSA
both are dual valve springs for a solid roller. i am thinking that the springs i have will be fine? am i wrong? [ September 11, 2003, 04:14 PM: Message edited by: Chosen1 ]
