Author Topic: I GOT SLICKS AND THEY FIT!! BuffMUSTANG ¯ Member # 3180 posted                              I have a set of v-6 wheels. A friend of mine just gave me a set of slicks.... the slicks are 15X8X27....... Will these fit????? I have a stock 2001 Mustang GT... and will these help my time at the track? Looks so nice.... I was going to do a big burnout with some of my friends but i broke one of my studs.. DAMNIT!!!! So now i have to wait... oh well, my friends and their cameras can wait untill i get the new stud, i dont want to take any chances... do i need to get anything for my car now that i have slicks??? All i have done to the car is: flowmaster 1 chambers welded in and a K&N air filter... I ran 13.998 at 102 w/ a 2.279 60 ft. I also weighed my car...
