On my 96 cobra I heard a noise that sounds somewhat like a exhaust leak at first but after I opened the hood I realized it was comming from the belts on the front of the car. if your looking at the engine from the front of the car its the bottom left part.

When it idles or whatever it sounds like its squeeking and somewhat rattling a litte bit.

Wtf is that thing (i have no clue on the dohc motors) and what can I do to help it? Should I be afraid to drive it? Its not like its falling off or anything just kinda vibrating more then it should.

Thanks

I believe there was a tentioner recall that year for your motor. Something to look into... but noises are very hard to diagnose over the internet.
