Your heads don't have a firing order. The combination of the crank and cam gives you the firing order.

Tell us year, make, model information and we'll try to tell you the firing order.

If it's a Mustang 5.0 then your firing order is 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8.

Not to be a dick but you need to buy a Chiltons manual at least.

When looking at the engine from the front (standing at the radiator) the cylinders will be numbered like this:

4 8
3 7
2 6
1 5

The distributor cap will be marked with number 1 on the top. It rotates counter-clockwise.

Does this help?

Sean.
