Right now i got a aod with 3.73 on my 91 mustang and the aod isnt going t last muhc longer. I was thinking about geting a c-6 with 3.55 cuase it you only get 3 gears with the c-6. How muhc hp can the c-6 take?

either just upgrade the AOD and rebuild, or buy a C4 and get real serious...that or a 5speed swap...

I wouldn't rebuild the factory AOD. If you want to stick with an automatic yet still have a streetble car get a Lentech AOD. They are great trannys. Then get a Transbreak with a 3,000 stall and then you will be the happiest man alive. Now that you stuck with the Lentech AOD you have four gears, better gas milage, and still great pickup with 3.73's. You have the best of all worlds, except autos suck for cruising the twisties ![[Frown]](frown.gif)
