well i was having a problem when myt car got warm it owuld missfire real bad. Well turns out it was the distributor.. when its cold the end shaft fits fine with no play, pulled it out when it was warm..the bottom of the shaft had about a 1/4 to 3/16 inches of play.. well im hapy now. Cool. I probably would have replaced a million other things before blaming extra play at the distributor gear.

there was a ton of extra play in it when it was warm..i was really suprised.

yes sir.. new distibutor and car ran perfect even uped the timing to 15 degrees. with basline fp with vac of at 38-39..
