What do you think looks and works better on 17x8's
in the Nitto DR's. The 245/45/17 or 275/40/17??
I saw a stang tonight at Grudefest and it had the 275/40/17's. It looks like the Nittos run narrow compared to others in that size. I figured that they would buldge way out on th sidewall but they didnt. Anyone have any pics that I can compare??

i've used the 275s DR before on a 17x8 rim and it looks fine. the sidewalls look a little meaty, but not too buldgy at all.

I run the 275/40/17 555R's on a 7.5 inch rim.
They fit nice & hook well.

For cornering stay with the 245's.....As for Drag radials I would recommend the 275's..Everyone I know who has bought DR's for their 17x8's has gone with 275's...I run 275's/17x8 on the back of my stang its way better for straight line traction..
