would the 98 Slug benefit if i swap to the 99 PI cams for now, or should i just wait, im just anxious for some more power.

Yes your 98 Gt would benifit from a 99+ Power Improved head swap. Note though, that your cars compression ratio will also raise, to higher the stock. But yes you will gain that extra 30 hp or whatever you are supposed to gain from the head swap. Just remember your CR will raise a lil bit also.

I wouldnt even bother with some cams swaps....By the time you got down to the timming chain and cams you might as well just change the heads!!!!...The stock 96-98 heads dont flow well anyway, so what would be the point?...
Just wait until you can get the PI heads!!..

if u port the 96 to 98 heads they will out flow the pi heads. i had mine done with bigger valves,dual springs,titanium retainers,p/p heads and custom regrinds. the guy that did my heads does both the 96 to 98 and also the pi heads and he has found more luck with performance with the pre pi heads. but dont base ur guys opion on mine
