i just put in a 331 in my Saleen and its getting altile hot, 210. i checked timing, 13 deg, i have a ford racing radiator, 185 mr gasket thermastat and a edlebrok water pump, i had a flexalit eletric fan but i put the stock one back on and it still heats up.

the thermo is probably bad, even though it is new it is probably bad, i had a bad thermo in the cobra and it was runnin at 205-210, i replaced the thermostat only and now it runs at 185-190, might be somethin else but the thermo was my only problem

thermostat being bad would be my first suggestion, next I would ask if it might be time to flush your coolant??? [Confused]

What gauges do u have stock or aftermarket if stock i would siggest the gauge is wrong but if not its the thermostat

try flushing your system and putting 50/50 back in there. Also put some red line watter wetter. if all else fails, THEN replace you thermostat. Go the cheap route first!! [patriot]

You may want to check the radiator for blockages.
