i just installed my autometer electric oil pressure gauge. The pressure reads 50psi and goes up and down a little. Anyways i was wondering does 50psi seem right for a stock 5.0 oil pressure or is my gauge messed up?

When is it reading 50? Is that cold or warm, idling or cruising? Pressure is dependant on a few factors, so it won't always be at a constant while the car is running.

as soon as i start it up it goes to to 50 when im at idle. when im driving around and it warms up it goes up to a little above 50 but it usually stays around 50. the car also has 127,000 miles if that matters

More or less. "They say" 7 psi for every 1,000 RPM.
